I had spent so many years adjusting, adapting, and assimilating — to fit in rooms I’d worked hard to earn my place in. But in doing so, I started shrinking. My style, once vibrant and rooted in culture, confidence, and creativity, became neutral. Safe. Invisible.

Then one day — I had enough.

I stopped dressing to blend in and started dressing to belong to myself again.
